Lissy is a young up and coming singer songwriter with a distinctive and compelling voice that instantly grabs your attention and leaves you wanting more. Brimming with creativity and raw talent, Lissy also has the gift of being able to write emotional lyrics that touch the heart. The Southern US influence combined with her smooth vocals and lyrics will captivate and transcend you into a unique blend of Americana, Country, Pop and Blues. Her influences include Norah Jones, Lana Del Rey, Katie Tunstall, Johnny Cash, Adele and Ed Sheehan all mixed with a big helping of Kentucky charm.
Born and raised in Stoke-on-Trent, England, at the age of 14 Lissy moved across the Atlantic to live in Lexington Kentucky, where she lived until she was 17 years old, graduating her High School with the class of 2017 Lissy first put pen to paper at the age of 14 with her first song 'HOME', written following the move from her home town of Stoke-on-trent to the USA, (this song is featured in the 2018 LexGiveBack campaign). Lissy soon became part of the local music community, a regular at LexJam and Writers in the Round and in April 2016, her music took her to a Battle of the Bands competition at Eastern Kentucky University where she was one of the winning acts. Lissy then began to Perform professionally in coffee shops, restaurants and for Charities such as Green House 17 and the Christian Appalachian Project. She went on to be nominated for 3 music awards, perform at festivals, TV and radio, WKYT CBS TV, ABC36. In October 2016 She performed at Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour at the Lyric Theatre, where she performed her song Heavy Hearted as the Woodsongs Kid, along side Grammy winner Blues man Bobby Rush. Before leaving Lexington Lissy was invited to record a live Red Barn Radio Concert, broadcast in November 2017.
Lissy teamed up with Broken Crow Studios in Lexington Kentucky and recorded and released her debut album 'Reminds Me of You' in January 2017. It features Nashville musicians Mark Prentice (bass & keys) and Michael severs (lead guitar) who have performed with greats such as Bruce Springsteen and Don McClean, Olivia Newton John. Her song HOME from the album features in commercials for the LexGiveBack campaign which Lissy was honored to support. www.lexgiveback.org
In April 2018 Lissy made a debut performance at The Rockwood Music Hall in New York.
Later in April she recorded her 2nd session at BBC Introducing which will broadcast on 12th May 2018.Lissy has been invited back to Red Barn Radio Show in Lexington Kentucky in July 2018. In August she is happy to return to Neverland, now Neverworld in Kent to open the Main Stage in August 2018, the Headliners include Bastille and Clean Bandit and dates are to be announced.

Since arriving back in in England July 2017 Lissy has featured on several radio stations including BBC Radio Stoke and BBC Introducing. She was delighted to open the Main stage at LeeFest -The Neverland for Headliner Jake Bugg on August 11th 2017 and was invited to perform at The City of Stoke-on-Trent's Our Heroes Event. In January 2018 Lissy was nominated for and won the 6 Towns Radio award for Best Music Act which was presented to her at the Mitchel Memorial Theatre, Hanely Stoke-on-Trent.
Lissy commenced a BA Hons degree in Songwriting at the British Institute of Modern Music, Manchester in September 2017 and has continued to perform at Festivals and venues in and around England .
